All our Fire Doors are tested by independent fire laboratories to meet the requirements for a 30 minute fire resistance (FD30S),
as required for flat entrance and most other FD30 fire door situations.
Our Fire Doors sets are available in either PVC as pre-hung units, complete with intumescent strips and hot and cold smoke seals, therefore meeting Approved Documents B&E of the building regulations.
This includes clear or obscured fire safety glass and self-closing mechanisms.

All FD30 sets come with a 'Certifire' Certificate, Qualitymark Insurance backed guarantee,
Certass Building Certificate and manufactured by a BM TRADA Approved Manufacturer.

Single Certification: The FD30S Fire door set, which is tested to BS 476: Part 22 or BS EN 1634-1:2014, is also tested for cold smoke leakage to BS EN 1634-3. Moreover, it is capable of meeting Approved Document Q (Part Q) requirements for security in dwellings.
Dual Certification: The FD30S Fire and Security doorset, is certified under the Certifire and Certisecure schemes. Additionally, it is tested for cold smoke leakage to BS EN 1634-3. and it is accredited by Secured by Design.
Insulation: DSI fire doorsets are certificated for 30 minutes fire integrity and only suitable for use when fire insulation is required if the doorset has less than 20% of un-insulating glass, including any toplight.
Frame: Timber hybrid frame. Low maintenance UPVC outer skin with sustainable sourced timber core reinforcement providing structural stability for all key comportments.
Locking Mechanism: GU Multipoint slam lock with intumescent protection.
Cylinder: Euro Cylinder, BSi 3* Kitemarked.
Glazing: Insulated glass unit, argon filled with 7 mm Pilkington Pyrodur and 6.8 mm thick Pilkington K Clear laminated glass or Pilkington KP1A Stippolyte glass.
Hardware: Certifire approved TS008 letterplate with security cowl. Eye viewer available at low and high height for wheelchair accessibility. Trojan Surface mounted knocker. Fully suited in gold /chrome.
Handle: Lever/Lever Solid Spindle.
Hinge: 3 x Grade 13, CE marked stainless steel butt hinges in chrome with intumescent protection.
Closer: Certifire approved surface closers, Dorma TS72V arm closer and Dorma TS92 slide arm closer.
